This individual must demonstrate a high degree of skill and proficiency in repair methods required to maintain a high level of machine efficiency. Apprentices are required to complete a 14-month training program, culminating in a comprehensive equipment assessment. Those who successfully demonstrate the required proficiency will advance to the Maintenance Technician position. Candidates are permitted a maximum of two attempts to pass this assessment<span class="MsoCommentReference">&nbsp;</span>.
