Job Summary:
The job of Quality Assurance Technician I is a highly focused position to ensure that the products manufactured fit the organization’s purpose, any and all legal requirements, meets specifications and customer expectations. The QA Technician I documents the products test results and provides suggestions required to attain the best quality product possible.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with Federal, State, Governmental and or any other appropriate regulatory laws or guidelines
- Ensure standards are met in the areas of Food Safety and Product Quality
- Proficiency in performing the tests and inspections required for One Cup and Traditional Packaging of coffee
- products
- One Cup and Traditional Packaging of coffee products
- All analytical testing
- Primary and secondary material verification
- Ingredient and finished product testing
- Code verification
- Sampling collection
- Report all non-conformances to Quality Management Team
- Perform any special assignments as required by the QA Supervisor, Quality Manager, SQF Practitioner and/orQA Lead
- Work in a safe manner, following all safety rules and procedures
- Support, follow and train in Food Safety Culture
Comply with all company policies and procedures, demonstrating a strong commitment to Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in support of product integrity, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Manufacturing environment
Requirements:
- Basic math concepts
- Good interpretive and/or reactive skills
Location: Onsite-Lincon, CA
Schedule: Mon-Fri 12:30pm-9:00pm **Some weekends**
Pay: $23.00 per hour
